We’re excited to continue our monthly event at the roomy and welcoming Witchcraft Pub in Maple Ridge every 3rd Wednesday of the month! It’s a late night race so be prepared to be caffeinated the next day. Also note it will be a quick race with single elimination and likely 3 or 4 qualifying heats.
Note, Witchcraft is now closed to the public at 8pm so we will setup as soon as the general public gets out of the space.

VanWhoop also has a limited amount of loaner equipment available, such as Quadcopter and transmitter pairs, batteries, chargers, and decent box goggles to those who ask us in advance. While we would love to help you learn to fly, this is not the place to learn. Please check out our FPV playlist and other requirements here before coming to participate. Simulators are free and a great way to learn before you try!

What: Timed racing on a custom track – track is built day-of by volunteers
**Freestyle allowed when requested in between heats or during breaks

– TinyWhoop sized or other ducted quad + related radio + goggles + batteries + charger + tools
**HD googles permitted, but DJI and Walksnail users will be asked to stand away from other pilots in their own corner of shame (to avoid interfering with other pilots video feed)
– Power bar or extension cord to share power outlets, or battery pack for charging from
– liquids to stay hydrated
Rules:
– Venue decisions are always the priority & may change at any time
– No outside Alcohol is permitted in this venue due to liquor license
* Buy a beer or pitcher before closing AT the venue! You’re welcome to finish it after closing if you wish.
