Our first event of 2024 is upon us! Our friends at Kron Technologies have once again offered us use of their (new) warehouse for the weekend before they move a bunch of gear in, so as last minute as this is, we’re WHOOPING this Thanksgiving holiday Monday, Oct 14th!
When: Monday (STAT Holiday in Canada) Oct 14th
9am – Setup (please come help)
10am – Track Walkthrough & Pilots Meeting
10:30am – Qualifying heats
12:30pm – Break
1:00pm – Mains
2:00pm – Clean up & pack up
What: What (in the whoop)
Timed racing on a custom track – track is built day-of by volunteers
**Freestyle allowed when requested in between heats or during breaks
Where: 113-8337 Eastlake Drive, Burnaby BC
Parking: Go to the Eastlake Campus Entrance (security gate) and say you are visiting Kron Technologies. Park behind the warehouse.

Bring:
– TinyWhoop sized or other ducted quad + related radio + goggles + batteries + charger + tools
**HD googles permitted, but DJI and Walksnail users will be asked to stand away from other pilots in their own corner of shame (to avoid interfering with other pilots video feed)
– Chair + table – camping style recommended for easy transport
– Power bar or extension cord to share power outlets, or battery pack for charging from
– Food & liquids to stay hydrated, yo (Alcohol is permitted if you are 19+)

Rules:
– Don’t be a douche
– Don’t vape/smoke inside
– If you make a mess, clean it up
– ALL PILOTS must CORNER MARSHAL for the heat after they fly, or the first heat if you are in the last heat
